From the Inbox: So. Cal Homeschool Fair ~ Memorial Day (Ontario)
The 20th Annual Southern California Homeschool Fair is coming to Ontario this Memorial Day 2009.
Location: Ontario Christian High School
931 W. Philadelphia Ave in Ontario, California.
Date: Monday, Memorial Day
Fair Hours: 9:00AM - 4:00PM
Fair Tickets: $2.50/person up to $12/family* in Advance.
Gate prices are $4/person-$20/family*.
Children 3 & under are free.
[* family is defined as mom and dad and kids; it does not include extended members]
Remember to save projects your child has completed since June 1, 2008. You can enter them into the fair. Save those poems, craft projects, drawings, paintings, history and science reports, etc. See detailed listing of project categories below or at http://www.homeschoolfair.com/2009fair/divisions.html
There's still plenty of time to prepare projects for entry. Deadline for non-perishable entries is April 30.
We, personally, have so many fond memories of the Homeschool Fair. It is such a great way to showcase your child's work and invite friends and family members to share in the festivities. There are so many booths with great information about resources for homeschooling. The Olympic events were always one of our favorite activities. The planning committee is planning some wonderful ways to share memories from past fairs in celebration of the Fair's 20th Anniversary.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Marilyn Short
Project Entry Coordinator
P.S. Please pass this info along to anyone who may be interested in participating.
